With only 4 days until the team fly out to Portugal to compete at the 5th IKF European Korfball Championships, the team are raring to perform on the world stage. Below is a list of the various ways you can keep up to date on the team and the updates that Wales Korfball will be providing.

Live Match Updates

From an hour before throw off time, all matches will be shown live in our media centre. You can catch all the action from this URL:

Tournament Results / Post Match Overviews

All results along with detailed match stats will be shown on our European Korfball Championships, Fixtures and Results page:

Check in there for the results and scores of the Welsh team throughout the tournament, and to find out when our knockout games are after the group stages.

Daily Blog

James Wilcox, one of the rising stars of the National team, will be giving an insight into life in the camp with daily blog updates on the teams downtime, the mood in the camp and any snippets of gossip that he can gather. Just come back to the Welsh Korfball page to see if his daily post is live.

Twitter

@WalesKorfball will be tweeting sporadically and frequently throughout the tournament. This should be your first stop for up to date information from within the team camp with snippets of information and pictures.

All our games have specific twitter hashtags that you can use to join in the conversation on the game. They are all shown on the individual game pages, but for reference are:

Just tweet with one of those hashtags if you’re talking about that specific game to get noticed on the game page, and see what everyone else is saying about the match.

Along with the official twitter page, many of the current international squad tweet regularly, and throughout the tournament you can catch up with their personal updates through their own personal twitter updates. All twitter usernames for the players can be found on the National Team page.

Outside of Wales – The Tournament
