The BKA have announced the first dates for their 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Korfball.  The first course will be in Manchester and will be held over five sessions from 26th February to 24th April. Dates and locations for future courses will be released soon.

Who is it for?

This qualification is aimed at coaches operating in the club environment who wish to further their continual professional development. It is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to enable them to coach korfball sessions to groups of adults and/or young people in an appropriate environment.

Learners must be at least 18 years of age, able to communicate effectively in English and have successfully completed one of the following courses:

  • BKA Level 1 Award
  • IKF Level 1 Award
  • England Korfball Teaching Children Korfball course
  • England Korfball Level 1 Award

Learners will also need to have access to an environment where they can deliver a series of korfball coaching sessions in order to fully complete the assessment requirements. How much will it cost?

The BKA are offering members a discounted rate (£320 members and £345 non-members) and an additional early bird discount of £25 is available for those who book onto the course before 12th February 2016.
